This is by far my favorite restaurant. The service is incredible;
the staff makes you feel right at home (They have always especially
catered to my baby brother, who is the pickiest child on earth.)
I always order Spanikopita (spinach pie), a Greek salad and the
veal chop with fettuccini alfredo. I end the meal with baklava
and coffee. If you’re of age, and care to start the meal with a drink,
I highly recommend the Ninotchska (sp?). The atmosphere is elegant,
yet comfortable. There is not a better restaurant that I have
found in the area.

I've eaten Greek food everywhere but Greece and I can't
believe that it would be any better there. The lamb shank is extraordinary
as is the Mousaka. The vegetables were grilled to perfection
and the salad was crisp and fresh. The selection of wines was admirable
and the service beyond excellent. The managers made us feel like
family and the atmosphere made me want to sail the Aegean. Elegant
and familiar.

One of the few traditional Greek places in St. Louis, Spiro's
has excellent old world-style food. The lamb is hit or miss (more
so at the Olive location than anywhere else).

This is one of my favorite haunts. The two dishes that I can't get
enough of are the lamb shank that falls off the bone and the beef
tips and noodles. The green beans are excellent. The saginaki
is the best I've had. Desert consisting of coffee and gelateboreko
(sorry if I've mispelled things) really rounds out a wonderful
meal. The atmosphere makes you feel that you are in Athens or perhaps
a nice coastal village at a family run restaurant. As far as I'm
concerned it is one of the best places to fine comfortable yet
elegant dining.
