What is up with this original T&A's? It is terribly inconsistent,
in taste, amount of toppings, and even the way the pies are put
together. I recently went to the Blossom Hill T&A's and it
was much better, like it used to be.
Can't recommend the Mtn. View T&A's any longer.

Being from the NY area I assumed we had the best pizza, But this
pizza is the best I've ever had.The sauce is very tasty and the
cheese is excellent.

Tony & Alba's serves up a great pizza that's not quite like
anyone else's. The crust is unique -- a somewhat thick crust
that's neither doughy nor airy. The sauce is sweet with a
slight herbal zing. Pizzas come out of the oven cooked to
perfection, plus or minus about 30 seconds. Even the
individual slices are good at lunch time -- no soggy,
warmed-over, slimy looking pieces of cardboard with lukewarm
toppings tossed on like so many other pizzerias serve. My
only gripes about T&A are that their prices are a bit high
($2.75 for a slice of pepperoni) and that if you get their
pizza delivered it often arrives at room temperature.

This is the pizza for me. I get it regularly, always take-out.
They only recently started delivery, and it has been not very
reliable. Lamentably, since the business has increased lately,
the service has gone down a bit... I find myself waiting for
my take-out order to be done, which I do not like (I come when
they tell me). They also raised their prices early in 1998
(or thereabouts), but if you do takeout, you can get $3 off
every time (check your receipt).
Even though I have been a bit ticked off the last couple of
times, I have to keep going. I do not get tired of their pizzas,
and they have a very broad range of ingredients. Try their
gourmet pizzas. It is not Round Table.

My favorite is the Gilroy with Clams or Anchovies and extra jalapenos.
Order the right size pizza and good pitcher or Tie House amber
sit down, relax and watch the sports on TV. One of the better pizza
place in the south bay. Tony and Alba special is also very good for
those who like lots of meat.

T & A has about the best pizza around. The trick to ordering
the perfect pizza is to order a pizza size of medium or smaller.
The larger pizzas are soggy in the center. Enjoy...

After living in Rome for 2 years my (and my hubby's)
search for an authentic pizza ended at T & A's. The key
here is quality as opposed to (the American standard)
quantity. True Romans would cringe at the loaded with
toppings, thick crusts that are served in most 'pizzerias'
in the bay area. Taste is excellent, and this place would
be my second home if the decor was a bit more up-market.
But if you want a good satisfying meal which reheats great
in a slow oven the next day look no further. Our favourite
is largest size thin crust half gourmet (for my husband)
and half mushroom, onion and prosciutto.....Just like
being back in Italy!

This is one of the 2 great pizza places! I rank this place up there
with Pontillo's. No special reason, just good pizza! You must order
the combo though!
