Place has obviously changed hands over the years. Food has stayed
reasonably consistent.....but has lost some of it's flavor
over the last few years. Still good, and a regular stop for me.

For lunch, our group ordered the Chicken in Plum Sauce, Mongolian
Beef, Szechuan Beef, Kung Pao Chicken and Lemon Chicken. I thought
the Mongolian Beef as very good and liked the Chicken in Plum Sauce.
Overall, the portions were large but even though the lunch menu
was large, I felt challenged to find 5 different items to share
with our group. Maybe it's the numbering on the menu which makes
it seem larger than it is.

Just had lunch at the Garden with a friend. The food is definitely
Americanized, but not excessively so. They have roughly 30 different
lunch specials, so there is a wide variety to choose from. The
portions are plenty large. We shared Mongolian Beef and Princess
Tsu Shi's Shrimp. The beef was crisp and not greasy which was a
major plus. The shrip was tender and not overcooked. Spices were
light but still noticable. Recommended.

I agree that this is an Americanized Chinese food place. For me
that's a plus. I give extra credit to any Chinese place which
doesn't make me ask for a fork.
The hot and sour soup here is okay. It's usually a little too
bland. I also agree with the review saying that the kung pao
chicken is too heavy on the water chestnuts.
So, then, why do I give it a whopping 4 stars? Because it's
excellent Americanized Chinese food. The fried rice is first
rate and the chow mein is very good. For my money, however,
the item which sets this place apart from others is the orange
beef. It's not very spicy but who cares? The orange sauce is
wonderful. The lemon chicken is also excellent.
I'm not sure what people are talking about when they talk about
the nice hostess and so on. In my experience they take your name
or seat you and that's that. Nothing out of the ordinary really
struck me.
I recommend this restaurant highly. It can ...

Like most Chinese restaurants, it all depends on what you order.
Their ma po tofu is the worst I've ever eaten (especially from
a restaurant that is supposed to specialize in "szechuan" food).
However, their dry-cooked stringbeans are quite tasty. Portions
are not large.

This is definitely Westernized Chinese. It is pretty good though.
The string beans were a feature, and all items were acceptable.
Nothing to rave about, although my boy particularly liked it. I
find the interior rather dingy, but service was prompt & pleasant.

A classic Western-ized Chinese restaurant. "The best Chinese
restaurant in MV" as rated by non-Chinese eaters.
As you might guess, a dissenting view from an ethnic Chinese
person.
