The Sparta Grill, although pricey and ostensibly high-quality,
was not wholly impressive. Perhaps I was too close-mided about
trying the unusual Greek cuisine. The menu offered few -- if any
-- traditional items, leaving diners who aren't brave faced
with a dilemma.
For Greek dining, I'm sure Sparta is very good. However, one must
acquire a taste for the unique flavors and sauces. In fact, Sparta
was somewhat of a Tallahasse legend, a popular spot for classy
downtown dining.
However, Sparta has gone out of business, becoming "Club 220, "
which I haven't checked out yet.
