I travel to Madison at least twice a month, I recently stopped
in the Garden and enjoyed the experience, I of course recommend
it to anyone in the mood for Oriental food.

This is the ONLY place to go for Chinese! The atmosphere is very
inviting as you walk in and see an area of plants with origami birds
hanging from them. The dining area is versatile with booths and
tables to choose from. In the back is a separate room where a sushi
bar has been added. My favorite is the Sweet and Sour Chicken.
The chicken is always done to perfection with crispy breading
and homemade sweet and sour sauce. The Shrimp Sizzling Rice soup
is wonderful as are the appetizers I have tried, from egg roll
to crab rangoon. Their lunch prices are even less expensive than
the average entree price listed above. The wait staff is always
friendly and special instructions are taken and followed to
a "T". Love it!!

With the cookie-cutter Chinese restaurant look (although a
little
fancier) the Imperial Gardens could just be a mediocre restaurant
across the street from a mall. It's NOT. The dishes are
absolutely fanstastic, tasting the way you always expect/hope
they will be (but rarely ever are). I hear they've added sushi
if that's your fancy (personally, I'm faithful to Wasabi). Besides
the Hong Kong Cafe, this is THE place for Chinese.

I've driven 60 miles (1 way) to have dinner here. They have added sushi. Excellent
food, reasonably priced. Portions are large. The appetizer platter for
2 is a great start.
They have recently remodeled also.
