We are regular patrons of Hunan's and have never had a bad meal nor
a bad experience with any of Jimmy's staff. I'm not sure what
other reviewer's expect from them, but I can't stand obnoxious
waitstaff. I appreciate that they let me eat my meal in peace and don't
treat me as if I need constant attention and nursemaiding (re:Applebees).
Even at the height of the buffet rush, they're not shooting us dirty
looks and trying to usher us out of the building when we're done
(again, Applebees.)
The food is always great, the girls who work there are helpful and friendly.
Try being friendly to them, you'd be surprised what happens!

Not too bad, but theres better, they have their on and off days
where sometimes it seems the wait staff is in a race for something.

I have gone here several times and I believe the service could
be better. The person that pours the water usually is in such a
hurry that they spill it all over the floor. I haven't eaten here
in a while but I don't believe it has gotten any better. The food
is so so. Quite often the chicken is real strong tasting and tough.

The restuarant is in a good place and has a nice atmosphere, but
the service is average to poor. After bringing you the food, you're
pretty much on your own. Good food selection.

This restaurant has a great view of Thunder Bay and the atmosphere
is is alight. There is plenty of seating for non-smokers and
smokers. My wife and I went there on friday at 5:30 pm. there were
only to other couples in the dinning room, at the the service was
alright but after my wife's dinner got there it seemed that our
waitress disapeared. I can say one thing for sure the buffet was
so-so but my wife's shrimp with vegetables was great, the shrimp were
large and the vegetables were crunchy. all in all the meal was
alright and the service could be better. So I give this restaurant
2 stars if the service was better it could have gotten at least
2.5 or even 3 stars.
