I hate to tell anyone who has ever eaten here... but the kitchen in this place is the most digusting I have ever seen. I used to work at Stage and I saw everything from dessert knifes being scrapped clean on the side of a garbage can, to a cook 'pleasuring' himself in the back of the resturant. Every time I hear the name of this resturant.... my stomach churns. I was hospitalized for 3 days after eating dinner here one night. . . Good Luck to anyone who eats here!!

Oh this place is excellent! Great, great deli food! The pickles are wonderful. The wait people are great! It's easy to park there. The service is wonderful. It is clean and the deli smell can't be beat!

I agree that the food is great. However, the servive is rotten. It takes forever to get your food, and they don't want to hear about it! Also, you can be waiting for a table, and a "regular" will get seated before you. Owners are anything but friendly!

Kind of a New York style "dressed up" deli. IT's not a kosher deli mind you, but it is in that style. Great corned beef, all kinds of sandwiches, soups and salads. They also have nice dinner specials which change daily. Service is usually very good and the waitstaff is attentive. The rye bread is nice and crusty on the outside, I suspect from being twice baked. They have all the Jewish favorites, such as matzoh ball soup, kasha varnishkas, nice smoked meats and fishes, etc. Sometime getting seated is a problem and you wait for what seems longer than necessary as you are waiting while tables are empty or not yet cleared. If you want to take food out, they have a counter for that too and they can make you just about anything. One of the take out counter guys talks so fast that you don't even know what you have ordered or what you actually got. My suggestion, avoid that guy or if you get stuck with him check and re-check your order. Ther have been problems a few t ... more

Very popular authentic Jewish deli. Great food and good service. Lots of regular customers and many of the wait staff have been there a long time. The line goes out the door on Sunday mornings. Also has a large take-out counter.
