I thought this restaurant was really good. By me being a restaurant
manager myself. I was there for a friend of mine. He had past away and
the dinner after the funerla was held there. He used to work in the kitchen.
After tasting the food I had to go back with a couple of my friends. I believe
this restaurant is a one of a kind. Even though I enjoyed this establishment
I do not beileve it will be around that long in Cleveland.

Fun place with lots of variety and good fresh food. It's nice to
be able to select what you want and have it cooked while you wait. I like
things spicy and they can make the food very hot. the kids like to watch
everything, very family friendly.

Great place for hangout and celebration. The food is excellent
and they cook it as you like it. You create what you want to eat and
they'll cook it for you. Thats what I love about this place.
The staff especially the chefs are friendly. Service can be slow
sometimes.

You could probably eat at Mongolian Barbeque every day for the
rest of your life, and never eat the same thing twice! No exaggeration,
either. The whole experience, from putting all your ingredients
together from several meat choices, a wide range of "fillers"
(veggies, pasta, tofu cubes), and a huge selection of "sauces"
(flavored oils, wine, lemon juice, etc.) and spices (from the
tame to the quite spicy), to watching the grillers cook your food,
is LOT of fun! Hints to new MBBQers: Use more than two ladles of
"sauce"...anything less than three and you're taking a chance
of your meal being a bit dry. Also, ask for drink and/or tortilla
and rice refills before you actually need them...service can
sometimes be a bit slow.

I have never been disappointed with the Mongolian Barbeque.
The only problem is that the seating is tight at times. As a veteran
of the place, here are some tips; 1) Do not go in the evening when
the restaurant is packed. The grill can get stacked 5-6 rows deep.
2) My favorite time to go is whenever it is not busy, like 2:00 on
Sunday afternoon. Skip lunch and make it your meal for the day.
3) If you like your concoctions caliente, order a pitcher of water,
or else your mouth may be on fire while you wait for your server
to bring you a refill.

While people new to town seem to enjoy this chain "dive, " I can't
say that I'm one of them. Be prepared for selecting what you want
to eat in the raw and then having some goofy high-schooler cook
it before your eyes - tossing the cooking poles all over his arms,
the back of his neck and other innappropriate spots for utensils
used to prepare any food, let alone yours. You have always wondered
what happened back in the kitchen, but this display before your
eyes will make you stomach churn even before you doubt whether
the seafood is fully cooked.
Try it once, but chances are that you'll be heading of to any of
the other many excellent restaurants in town from then on.
Unless you have a strong stomach or are in the 23 and under crowd,
this place will only get a strong recommendation on a someone
else's website.
Try THE MAD GREEK at the top of Cedar hill or HUNAN COVENTRY on Coventry
instead.

Just moved to the Cleveland area and a friend took me to Mongolian...
now whenever a friend is in town that's where we go to eat.
Veggie's: make sure you tell them you're vegetarian so they use
different sticks for your food.
Always fun, always friendly :-)
