I would say the best rib joint in the area. the ribs havea great
smoked flavor and are extremely good!
Plenty of seating but get there early.

The BBQ is great but there is a very limited choice of beverages
available! Be sure to buy a jar of their BBQ Sauce to take home with
you, it's wonderful!

The sauce was just great and the ribs were tender too. For southern
BBQ then this is the place to go.

They just launched a special catering campaign, I'll see if I
cant get a rating for that... But the Ribs are good; however, with
what they did to the sides, they should have left them off the menu...
very unacceptable... maybe they will catch on and 86 them or revamp
them... Rating is only for the ribs and the sauce.

A franchise of the rib joint in Tuscaloosa [ made famous by Alabama football
nationally broadcast games ] that has far surpassed the original. Tuscaloosa
was known for only serving ribs and "white bread" . The Birmingham resturant
now serves excellent pork sandwiches and a fine BBQ'ed chicken. Has a "sports
bar" atmosphere and good service by college type servers. Good for lunch
and dinner and easily accessed from downtown , southside and just off of I-65
and University Ave.
