This place has excellent has. they make the best chicken stew i have ever put in my mouth. u dont need any bbq sauce. the hushpuppies are made homemade from scratch. you will return for more if you try it once

Good all the way 'round. Off the beaten path on Southport Road but worth the drive. In Spartanburg, this is the place to go for your chicken stew. They also have blue plate specials, hamburgers, chicken, hot dogs, fries, etc. Good friendly atmosphere for the family too.

This place has the best hash in spartanburg. they serve it with hushpuppies. the plates of food are well worth the price you pay. the service there is nice & friendly. if i want hash or chicken stew this is the place i ALWAYS go to.

This is an excellent place to go when you want chicken stew. There are very few places I have been to that has excellent chicken stew. They also have great service. It's usually quick and a friendly environment...great family restaurant. I love Holden's. You should try it some time.

This place has the very best hash i have ever put in my mouth. you dont need any sauce for it. just pop it in your mouth & be on cloud 9. they also have excellent chicken stew. this place has wonderful service people. i visit this place very often. i would eat here 24/7 if i could. you will love it if you try it, trust me
