This was a good place for bbq. my pork was good and the sides were OK. The hushpuppies were excellent... some of the best I've had. Sauce is interesting - very sweet. If you are a bbq addict, it is definately worth a visit.

all in all a great place to eat its been around forever thats gotta mean something the only thing that turns me off they changed the sauce some time back about 95 or so but still very good but not as good as theold days lol

I really like the BBQ here, the sauce is a little sweet, but still good. Great family atmosphere and the service is usually good. Great pork skins and I personally recommend the chicken. Really good!

I have eaten here since I can remember and it is the best food in the world. I don't eat barbecue anymore for personal reasons but I still love their cheese burgers.

For a real family atmosphere and one of the only friendly resturants in Asheville this BBq is the best. The service is fast and the quantity of food is great. My family can order the family meal and have more than enough to take home. We also like the curb service and how nice the girls are when they come to your car. Excellent resturant for the price and for the atmosphere.

For a real change of pace and good BBQ, this is the place. You can dine in, take out, or have curb service. This is the only restuarant in town that still offers curb service. The food is good and the staff is friendly.
