The Southend Brewery and Smokehouse is a place you have to go to in Raleigh. Not only great beer, but great food as well. The brewery's has its own smoker onsite to make apple wood-grilled smoked meats including blackened salmon and New York strip. But you have to try the barbecue. Whether it's the wings, ribs, or pulled pork, you can taste the distinct flavor of apple wood smoke in each bite. Great for washing down with any of the great house brews. My favorite is the wheat.
