The restaurant has an interesting set up and great chinese decor. The food was very good and didn't have any of the stereotyped "mysterious" things in the meat. Everyone's meal was very good when we went and we'd go back anytime. The service was very good also. Give it a try you'll enjoy the good food and service.

One of the oldest Chinese restaurants in the area, it has excellent food and friendly, efficient service. The lunch buffet is a steal! Dinners are a bit more pricey, but well worth it. My kids love the giant koi in the fish pond in front of Chens!

There are a number of barometers to be used when rating a restaurant, but for Chinese, I rate them first by the quality of the meat used in their recipes. House of Chen has been consistantly flawless, in their chicken, beef, pork, and seafood. Many chinese places fail based on that criteria alone. House of Chen is a BYOB and I do not know of a corking fee. The owner, the managers, and the staff are gracious and accomodating. The menu is superb and varied. For quality Chinese food, this is the place to be.

This is an authentic Chinese restaurant. Wonderful lunch buffet and owner is very kind and willing to speak with patrons. For real fresh meats and ingredients, this is the place to go. Great for the entire family!!

Excellent lunch buffet for 6.95 and all meals are prepared and served attractively. Large portions. Wait staff is helpful is explaining items on menu. Good flavor to food and very fresh. Complete menu.
