Why did this restaurant close? We went there for dinner, the doors had a big chain and lock thru the handles, and seveal newspapers on the porch. A small note on the door said...."closed by pine valley authority".

It's a prime location but the food and service leave much to be desired. However, it's a decent place to have a drink and maybe some appetizers.

Good if you like barbeque, but if not...good luck finding anything else to eat here. It's a nice laidback atmosphere and although it's nothing special, it's a nice place to stop by for a meal occassionally.

There is nothing overly special about the restaurant. The food is fine, the service is fine. It gets a little loud and hectic which makes this a little more tense feeling instead of a quiet relaxing meal. Although I guess if you're coming here you're looking for some picnic type food and not a quiet dinner type food. It's a solid place to eat but nothing special in any way.

Good food and barbeque, good drinks. The appetizers were outstanding as well. Chow down on wings and drink some beer while watching the game or just relaxing with some friends.

Generally, this place seemed real casual. The BBQ was definitely a texarkanas style and not georgia (hint of cilantro maybe?) I thought it was very good. The staff here is knowledgable and friendly , plus, they don't push you out the door, you can actually enjoy your meal here, and eat dessert without a srever hovering in the background with the check. (and they kept my beverages coming) Fun.

This is a pretty good barbeque. I travel a lot (and have lived in six different states in the last 8 years) and this barbeque could not hold a candle to any of the ones I frequented when I lived in Georgia...however, for those of you eating in Pittsburgh (and not likely to be in Georgia any time soon) you'll never know that pales next to what the southerners are getting. They have a variety of different sauces (which I liked)..and again, not one of them is as good as the one sauce they serve you in Georgia...but it is nice to sit and try them all.
