Not somewhere to go every week as it is very expensive - but on a special
occasion it makes for a wonderful evening. We had a great time here,
the food was absolutely wonderful.

A great place to make a first impression. The intire dining experience
is great from the food to the service and atmosphere. The flavor
and taste is in every dish

Vote! I was very impressed with the service and food at this establishment.
It was my first visit to a French restaurant, and also my first
taste of escargot. I was amazed at the taste! The service, without
a doubt, was impeccable.

Very Very Very expensive restaurant. Be prepared to be wowed!
The food is excellent and the service is unbelievable. This is
a great place to bring a "serious" date. You are sure
to impress her here! I love this gorgeous restaurant. Wonderful
dining experience. Excellent French food, maybe the best in
the City.

New York's most welcoming French restaurant. Service is
friendly, prices are a notch below those of most competitors,
and the kitchen improves each year. Lunch and dinner are prix
fixe and might go like this: Salmon, served tartare or marinated
in spiced oil; tiny bay scallops sautéed with shallots; delicate
grilled salmon medallions on sautéed cabbage; and a Lyonnaise
dessert trolley laden with tarts, cakes, and floating island

Outstanding food. Foie gras served with cold pickled beets was
wonderful. Rack of lamb was best ever. My wife had squash soup
and beef tenderloin in red wine sauce.
We did not find the service as warm and friendly as stated. It seemed
as if we disappeared from view. Wine was opened out of site and
brought to the table. Wine glasses never refilled. You can tell
when someone is snubbing you. Oh well, the food was great.

Three course pre-fixe dinner is $62 at this venerable Sutton
Place establishment. New Chef Jacques Qualin is wonderful!
His signature dish of Turbot with Comte crust in a Champagne sauce
is remarkable. Frogs legs are delectable as well. My friend had
the velvety watercress soup with Sevruga caviar and "millbrook"
venison with pickled beet and raved about them all evening. The
service is warm and welcoming, as is propritor Georges Briguet.

A very expensive, "neighborhood" restaurant in the Sutton Place
area of Manhattan where old money dines with the likes of Henry
Kissinger. The food---excellent. The service--wonderful,
especially if the wait staff knows your are from the area.
