My favorite Deli. Reasonably good food. Delicious sandwiches. Poor
burgers. Great cakes and deserts. Good value for money. Service so-so.
Nice atmosphere.

gonna get. Cheesecake? I dare you to.

For Times Square, a much better choice than Carnegie Deli. Food
is very reliable, with a tremendously good cheesecake. The staff
are almost a sterotype of 1950s brooklyn waiters, but generally
personable (compared to Carnegie deli for instance. Overall,
quite good, with enourous sandwiches.

Tourist Trap! Overpriced Humongous sized sandwiches. Okay
if your a tourist on the Times Square area but not for natives.

The biggest damn sandwich I've ever had. I don't know if New Yorkers
go here or not, but for a tourist this would seem to be the stereotypical
New York experience. Surly waiters, and $11.00 for a corned beef
sandwich, but it seems like you get a pound of meat. Really. Also
the best pickles I've ever had. I love the light green ones. I'd
eat there everyday if I lived in NYC, but if I did, I'd be dead of
a heart attack by now.

The Stage Deli is my personal favorite..
So I guess I am not very bias...
So all I will say is my patented "Try it for yourself"
I am a lover of many things... And Deli's are one of them...

This is another one of those places that lives more on reputation
than on substance. Frankly, most people come to the Stage thinking
that they are going to get Kosher deli and then find ham on the menu.
They don't advertise themselves as being Kosher, but they seem
to do nothing to dispell the notion. The food is just average,
and the stars don't hang out there any more. There's really nothing
to set the stage apart from any place else in New York, other than
a mystique that died long ago.
