I loved this place. The atmosphere was quiet and elegant. Food was served in classic dishes. The food was outstanding. My favorite was the Chicken Tikka Masala. The bread was wonderful and fresh as well as the acompaniments to the meal. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that truly knows good, classic Indian food.

The lunchtime buffet, was my favourite, there was always something great to eat, if I went there in the evening, it was for Rogan Josh the big chunks of marinaded meat in a sauce fit for a king.

The decor is traditional Indian-style, the service is fairly good and there is even sitar entertainment most evenings in the form of a cross-legged man sitting on what I imagine might serve as the buffet counter at another time. The food is slightly disappointing. I ordered Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi, which is supposed to be a very flavorful, dark-sauced, spicy dish, normally made with tomatoes, peppers, onions, and chicken tikka pieces. My mouth was ready for such a dish but what I got was a disappointment - barely cooked chicken chunks with little flavor, a pale chunky tomato sauce, and every odd vegetable but peppers and onions. This was not the hearty, spicy, deep, dark stew I hoped it would be - it was a quickly cooked tasteless mess that the least experienced chef could have whipped up at home. That said, my dinner companions were more satisfied with their dishes, a lam ... more

The food is awesome and the place is always quiet so you can enjoy your meal. The place is nicely decorated and there is an excellent variety on the menu, especially for vegetarians.

This is a very good place for food. I like the quality of many dishes. Items which one should never miss to taste are Alu and chicken biryani.
