I agree with the reviewer who said that Su Hong is the best Chinese
restaurant on the Peninsula! Their Chinese Chicken Salad has
to be the best I've ever had. Service is excellent, and the
food is fresh and flavorful, and the prices are more than reasonable.
The restaurant has a nice look and feel, and they have many large
tables to accommodate bigger parties.
A great place to go with family or friends. You leave feeling as
if you got a lot for not a lot of money.

Good flavors--popular with the local anglo crowd. Crowded at
lunch with local workers. Convenient menu with special courses
for groups.....at a reasonable price. Fast service...put all
this together, and you'll do some good business---which they
are.

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in the Bay Area. It is Americanized
Chinese food, but for me that's a good thing.
In my opinion they have the best hot and sour soup in the Bay Area.
It has the proper tang combined with the right spiciness.
The service is pretty typical for a Chinese restaurant, which
is to say that it's minimal. At lunch they sit you down, take your
order, bring you your food, and give you your check very quickly.
If I were more sensitive I'd think they didn't like me. I've never
had them be rude to me like the other reviewer.
Their combination lunch has good portions and good quality food.
My favorites are the kung pao chicken and the general's chicken.
Don't worry, they're really not that hot, the little asterix
is an exaggeration.

This quaint little lunch spot on El Camino serves healthy portions of
somewhat Americanized Chinese food to a business-lunch clientel. The
quality of the food is good, and consistent, if not outstanding, while
service is average. The environment is clean and the prices (at least,
for lunch) are reasonable.

Nice Chinese place. The food is a little on the mild side. Good
specials; try the Walnut Prawns or the Westlake Beef Soup. I like
the atmosphere at the Palo Alto branch a little better.

A family favorite which has gotten a little jaded due to its
popularity. Go at off hours and enjoy the Hunan Beef, Sechwan Prawns,
and General's Chicken.

Went there for a Sunday lunch. Decent food in general. The
portions were too small both in terms of price and pres-
entation. Food should be pleasing to all the senses: color,
aroma, and taste for completeness. The taste was fine but
lack of ample fresh ingredients left color and aroma short.

Not authentic Chinese cuisine (especially their combination lunch).
However, the food is very good at a reasonable price. Dinner is much
better than lunch.

Very bad attitude.
Because of their inefficient service and so-so food,
I only gave about 12% of totals as a tip at dinner
time. When I walked out the door, the waiter just
walked a step in front of me, and started murmuring
some bad words...

I like the food a lot. I would give it four stars if they would use
fresh vegetables instead of frozen.
