This is probably the best restaurant in CT. The food is flawless, the
atmosphere is perfect, everything is very french - It's expensive
($15 apps, $30 entrees) but the wine list is reasonably priced and it's
worth every penny because of the quality of what you get. EVERYTHING
is homemade, and delicious.

The restaurant du Village was opened early 1980's by Charles
Van Over and Priscilla Martel, and became one of the best French
table in Connecticut. Michel Keller, from Alsace, took over
and continue with the same quality standards. His wife Cynthia
welcomes you, and the waitresses are mainly French, which adds
to the authenticity. Right in the center of the lovely town of
Chester, the setting is elegant, very French and warm.
Highly recommended.
