A terrific choice for a nice meal. The service was great(friendly, and attentive) and the food was yummy. Definitely worth a try.

Another great place that suffers from its popularity. Food is Delicious; portions are huge; service is fast and friendly; But it is always noisy and crowded. Do your talking during the 20-30 min you are waiting for your table, because you won't be able to hear anything your companion says once you're seated, which is probably just as well, seeing as your mouth will be invariably FULL. Despite my dislike for big crowds, I have gone multiple times and would go again. The food is that good, especially the garlic mashed potatoes.

Good place to go for large parties, but...the food is in fact overrated, with some exceptions. I can understand how people get excited about Buca for the facilities and the serving style, but those that rave about the food don't get out to enough Italian restaurants. Service is great, and the wine list is very, very friendly and smart. The nightly specials always seem to be of good quality. Buca is not bad, by any means, but it's not as exceptional as it's reputation holds.

If you enjoy an eating experience this is the place to go. The food is out of this world and the service is great. You have to go early because it gets very busy. They do take reservations for large groups. If you have a group of 10 or more check out the popes table of the kitchen table.

I don't get this place. Yes, the portions are gargantuan, but to me, they lacked any subtlety of taste. I thought the marinara sauce was bland and too sweet.

Great food served family style and wonderful service. Hard to get in due to the crowds though. Best Italian food I have ever had -- we drive over 100 miles and take our friends!
