wonderful wonderful wonderful...intimate atmosphere + skillfully
done desserts make this place a great find on Broadway. If you
want to know a Seattle secret - go check out the Dilettante factory
store on the corner of 23rd and Cherry by Garfield High School
- same truffles at 1/2 the price.

This is a chocolate lover's dream. Some of the best chocolate
desserts I have ever had. Great place to take a date after you have
been out to dinner and want a place to just relax and socialize
over some coffer and chocolate.

This is a restaurant/coffeehouse/chocolate lovers paradise.
This started out, back in the early 80s as a chocolate deli. They
make their own chocolate and concoctions in the back (probably
another location by now).
They now have dozens of varieties of chocolate items: from draghees
to parfaits to drinks. All are exquisite. They even have some
sugar free varieties--which don't taste sugar-free!
They can seat, perhaps, 200. During the summer (anytime) and
on weekends it's standing room only! Wait times of an hour aren't
unusual.
If you aren't dying to go in--order from their mailorder department.
Takes a couple of days--but you get the same products at a slightly
better price and no lines or fighting (long as no one else in the
house knows what arrived!)
No smoking in the place. Credit cards accepted. Parking in the
area is "iffy" at best.
