It's ok - it's just a hamburger/hot dog place staffed
by the normal assortment of teens. Back when I was eating meat
it was tasty enough (and a short walk from home so that probably
influenced my dining choices a small bit)

If you're sick of fro-fro cuisine and the whole Santa Cruz
St. scene, hit a Los Gatos original and get a hot dog, fries and
a coke. Count BMW's cruising by on LG Blvd.

Hey folks, this is a hot dog and hamburger stand, not exactly an
up scale place you would expect to find in Saratoga. Hot dogs,
hamburgers, french fries, milkshakes and sodas, you know, American-style
"fast food" with a bit of care can actually taste great. I like
the MRO hot dogs (mustard, relish and onions), but there is smoething
on the limited menu for just about every hungry quick food diner.
You can order inside and sit there too, on days with nice weather
there are some seats outside, too. Lots of folks use the outside
window to order their food, wiat for their order, then sit in their
cars which they scarf down these pretty good dogs. Hey, like I
said before, this isn't exactly fine dining, but the Happy Hound
is always busy, so they must be doing something right.

Here it's very busy, and it often takes a while to get your food.
They've forgotten our order more than once, so we had to wait even
longer, but the tastiness of the food is well worth the wait.

I have been enjoying Happy Hound for almost 20 years. My huband and I
are semi-regulars there. The cheese-hound is the BEST. The fries are
pretty good, but not extremely consistent from visit to visit. Great
place for a quick buerger or dog.

Waaaaay over rated. The burger was good, but the fries
were poor and the milk shake a disaster. For this type
of restaurant from my experiences this one rates very low
for both food and ambiance. Happy Hound? More like a Sad Dog.

Huge, juicy burgers - fresh condiments - extra thick shakes! I'm not
a hot dog fan, but my "significant other" always gets the Mexidog - a
burrito style hot dog - flour tortilla with chopped up hot dog,
homemade chili, red onions and jalapenos (optional). If I ate hot
dogs, this is one I would try!

When I get that urge for a hot dog, this is the only place
to go!!!! Hamburgers are excellent also. I love their
fries and of course a chocolate malt to round it out.
Not a place to go for low-fat, but hey, every once in awhile
it does your heart good to just devour that cow.
