Keys says that they make pancakes the size of man holes...I didn't believe them, but they don't exagerate by much and the hash is fantastic.

Keys is know for breakfasts. They have "manhole cover" pancakes...that's no lie. I love their breakfast portions too. Lunch and dinner are also acceptable. Down home cooking like mom used to make...just not as fast. It's an old coffee house feel.

The atmosphere is true retro-metro, offering fabulous basics with a absolutely utilitarian flair. Make no mistake, Keys knows what works, and that is food. The Keys Everything Omelette says everything about the place, from the broccoli to the all-your-cardiologist sausage, this is the prime example American excess.

This may be the best breakfast in downtown. Try the blueberry pancakes and the Italian garlic sausage. The sausage will do two things for you as it nestles in your tummy for the entire day: 1) you'll be vampire proof and 2) it'll take the worry out of being close.

all meals are great here. I love the pancakes though. I'm partial to those, and this place does them great.

This is one of the many Key's Cafes in the Twin Cities. It's got to be the smallest! The dining area is very small and is somewhat crowded. Taking small children here is not advised. The food is great! The best thing on the menu is the open-faced turkey sandwich. Lots of moist turkey on a thick slice of bread smothered with gravy and served with mashed potatoes and stuffing. Watch out however, 'cuz it can be very salty at times.

Our place of employment orders from there regularly. The delivery person arrives on a bike. The vegetarian chili is outstanding. The variety of pancakes and the taste are the best and the breakfasts are out of this world. The deserts rate right up there also.Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get.

I go out of my way as often as I can for their deli sandwiches. The price is right, and the selection is incredible: 7 different breads, meats and cheese galore, all made fresh, served with a pickle and a bag of chips for under $6. The best deli in the downtown area.

My favorite has to be the roast beef hash. Have this for brunch and you won't be hungry till long after suppertime. Great people watching which makes the wait more fun. Long on fun and short on attitude. Very relaxing and satisfying.
