The few times i've been there it's been good! it's not
super busy, but busy enough that you don't feel all alone. it's
nothing fancy, just homecookin, better than Dennys!! if you want a
lot of food that'll fill ya up for cheap...this is for you!

Yankee Diner is the worst style of corporate blandness you're
likely to find in Ballard. The food isn't much better than
Denny's, but comes with a higher price tag, albiet larger
portions. If you're looking for mass produced charmless
food and can't be bothered with driving out to the mall, then
this is your place. But, if you want homestyle comfort food, then
head to Atlas Diner, Beeliner Diner, Vera's, or almost anywhere
else.

Great homestyle food. Quiet atmosphere, and very nice staff.
They serve the basic food like Mom used to make- meatloaf, mashed
potatoes, chicken- that kind of thing. The specialty is the Yankee
pot-roast, very tender- you don't even need to think about
your knife when eating this. Lots of desserts, and the prices
aren't too bad either.
