After spending 5 years in Japan and coming back to the states this
is the closest thing I have found to actually eating in Japan.
Outstanding food and selection. Great service with a great atmosphere.
I enjoy a good japanese beer now and then and this is one of few places
that offer a choice of japanese beers and sake. Definitely recommend
eating lunch here.

The food here is great! I suggest for any first-timers to get one
of the Bento Dinners, and some Yaki Torri (Japanese fried Chicken).
The sake is good too.

Excellent Japanese Food!
I'm not huge on sushi, but I have eaten sushi at this restaurant--it
is excellent. They even have sushi for those of us squeamish about
the raw fish thing. Order KYOTO MAKI -- it's salmon pate and asparagus
sushi--nothing raw and yummy!
The decor isn't fancy but the food is authentic and excellent.
They do have teppan tables and tatami tables (call ahead for reservations
for those).
Dinner is a bit pricy -- if you like the food but not the price --
eat lunch there -- it's less expensive and the food is just as good!
They make their own salad dressing -- I don't know what all is in
it, but it's absoluetly addictive!
