My wife and I have been going to this restaurant for years and we
love it. I agree with Mathew Coats above that it is the best place
in the tri-valley for mexican food. I haven't found another mex
restaurant in the tri-valley that is better than Taco Bell ;)
Anita and Jesse are wonderful people, the staff is friendly.
Our favorites are the chile rellenos, carnitas, shredded beef
tacos, (Anita's veggie burritos are EXCELLENT, though I doubt
they're particularly healthy). They have recently expanded
into space previously occupied by the store next door & Jesse
plans to serve Sunday brunch, though we haven't tried it yet.

I'd like to say this is THE very best place in the tri-valley for
mexican food. It may look like a beat up old place next to a bar,
but it's clean, quick, and tates magnificent. YOU HAVE TO TRY
THIS PLACE!!!

There's not a lot of great Mexican food in Livermore, 4/5 places
tops. Anita's is great! Small & informal and open on Sunday. What
else do you want? Try it.

Very good food. Doesn't look like much from the outside
but suggest you don't let that stop you from having a
great burrito.

Small but with genuine Mexican cuisine, not "Chevy"ized.
Suggest trying the different meat tacos alacarte. Good
selection of Mexican beers.
Expect a wait on weekend evenings.

The outside and inside don't
look like much, but the food
is real good, as attested to
by the large lunch crowd.
A best buy in Livermore for
Mexican cuisine.
