The 'wine and cigar' bar is a great place to relax, converse and wind down from a long day. Great food, quality drinks and nice ambience.

I went there last saturday and I was surprise with their appetizers. I had the shrimp stuffed with horseradish mash potatoes appetizer which it was delicious.I also had the steelhead trout wrapped in grape leaves which it was excelent, the presentation was good and I was very happy with the waitress that serve me.So if you go to Eddie Matney EXPECT the UNEXPECTED.

We just went here a cople of weeks ago. Very nice place, good food and quite a variety. I wasnt happy with the waitress, or the seat behind the hostess, it was a little noisey, and I dont like that. But the food was great, and a good value. I had his bacon meatloaf, it was very inique. I recommend going to check out Eddies, just where was Eddie, we wanted to see him, does he cook here any more?

The food is good, but I don't think it's worth the prices they charge. They give you enough, but I still think its a bit pricy.

Had dinner there last Saturday evening and it was a work of art. The food tasted very good, but I did come away with a stomach pain. Both my husband and I were up all night and we ate two different entrees. The other couple we were with were fine the next day, so it may have just been something else, but do be careful. I too feel his other place was the one to stick with and this one is not the same. He is very friendly and tries his best to accommodate, but something is lacking.

Eddie seems to have lost his flare for adventurous dining. While the early days of Eddie's Grill on 7th St. bring about memories of new, exciting food creations, his new venture lacks innovation and consistency. The food, trying to rely on revved-up versions of old Eddie's Grill favorites, is tired and unimpressive. It is so unfortunate that such a great chef has fallen to this substandard level. The flavors are now too many, as food seems so busy that the exciting and unique flavors we have grown used to with Eddie blend together creating a bland and unenticing dining experience. I hope that these are mere growing pains.
