Gavi is set in a cozy atmosphere off of a major street running through
the city. Easy to find, and easier to enjoy, Gavi offers excellent
Italian cuisine at reasonable prices. The menus have a wide variety
of entrees, and thus varying prices, but you can be guaranteed
satisfaction nonetheless. Considering the close proximity
of tables, or coziness, if you will, this restaurant is recommended
for a romantic night for two, or a place to have a business meeting
as opposed to a place to pack up the kids and enjoy a family night
out.

I love Gavi for a wonderful true Italian meal. No pretention,
no pomp and circumstance, just good food and good wine for good
prices. I have had people tell me the service isn't all that good,
and I guess I have to agree, but true Italian dining isn't about
the service. The food is superb. The list is impressive and very
user-friendly. I am still learning about wine so I can't get by
without a sommelier or an easy to read list so the entry-level
readability of Gavi's list is much appreciated. I have been to
two of the three locations and recieved identical experiences
at each. I highly reccomend Gavi over any Italian food in Tucson,
even Vivace and especially Trattoria Giuseppe.

This place is small and intimate. The staff is suprising knowledgable
and helpfull in respect to their extensive wine list. The food
is OUT OF THIS WORLD, the portions are HUGE. All-in-all a fabulious
place for a wonderful Italian meal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
