Excellent, and very hot! Expect a wait, because this place is extremely
popular among the locals. Does not take reservations, unless you are
a regular . . . .
Los Dos Monlinas is a jewel in the rough. The roughest part of town
maybe, but worth the excursion. There is nearly always a wait
for a table to sample some of the spiciest Mexican food available
in Phoenix. The drinks are strong and can sneak up on you if you
have a long wait for a table. The owner is wonderful and she makes
a point to get out and mingle with the locals.

The courtyard is a great place on a not-too-hot night and the indoor
dining is quite loud. If you like hot food, great margaritas and
don’t mind a little wait, then Los Dos Monlinas is for you.
<br>
My pick: Anything named Diablo and a pitcher of margaritas.

Crowd is mostly families and young people enjoying the drinks.
A local favorite for years.

Best food in Phoenix. Definately on the warm side, but that's
half the fun. Rumor has it, the location was lived in by Tom Nix
(sp), an old movie actor in "B" westerns.
A must for taking out of town visitors.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! Best Mexican, well actually New Mexican in
the Valley. It is HOT, but it's worth the burn. Love the Green Corn
Tamales & the Shrimp Vera Cruz. Great Margaritas.

Good food, but too darn hot! If you like extremely hot food, this
is the place.
Hot, Hot, Hot New Mexican Food. Hatch Chilies Rule! Not for
the timid. Wonderful, but sometimes crowded. Expect a wait.

If you like spicy Mexican food, than this is the place to go. It can
be a little crouded, but the wait is well worth it. Its open Tuesday
thru Saturday.
