Besides being the first, this is the very best Greek Restaurant in Tucson. This place is know for its Gyros, but everything on the menu is delicious. Highly suggested also is the hummus, falafel sandwich, Greek Pasta, Greek potatoes, Scordalia, Chicken Souvlaki, and the Pikalia.The baklava and kataifi are made in house and are excellent. George's also has a full bar and a good selection of both wine and beer (domestic, foreign, and Greek) Very close to the University of Arizona this place is extremelly affordable, especially during lunch.
