How could one go wrong in here? For a town where most people go around stuffed, this place will do it for less... But you will find the food is more "mexican", less cheesy than the usual Tex-Mex fare passing as Mexican... Enjoy the seafood and the Prickly Pear Condiments, as well. Tucson seems landlocked when viewing a map of the US, but look at the overal picture and you'll see it's very close to the sea, that is, once south of the border.

El Minuto Cafe is like a Tucson institution. Have been eating here for years. Great Mexican food at good prices. This place contains many years of childhood memories for me and my family.

I have some childhood memories here. the food was good but as kids my cousin's and I would finish the bowl of chips and salsa before we got our food. The menudo was great.
