Casa Molina, which sports a festive atmosphere, has been Tucson's
favorite family-run Mexican restaurant for many years and is
usually abuzz with families, groups, and couples. The margaritas
are inexpensive yet tasty, and the carne seca (sun-dried beef)
shouldn't be missed. Lighter eaters will enjoy a layered
topopo salad made with tortillas, refried beans, chicken, lettuce,
celery, avocado, tomato, and jalapeƱos. The food is good, and
the service efficient.

There is something special about "family" restaurants,
and the house of the Molinas is no different. They just seem to
try harder. The recipes are probably from Grandma, and some of
the best Mexican cuisine I've ever tasted. I'm from
Albuquerque, so I love our "New Mexican"-style food...but
when in Tucson, this is my home away from home restaurant when
the craving for salsa kicks in! Muy bien! Recommend the combination
plate, beef enchiladas, or chicken enchiladas. Add a cold beer,
and the realtively small check, and you'll leave very contented.
Nice people too!

I was impressed when I saw I saw the homemade flour tortillas.
Anyone that goes to this trouble to procure authentic tortillas
has to go to the extreme of preparing a top notch menu. I am going
to try the one on Grant to see if the food is comparable in spite
of it size.

Try their Sunday buffet; good prices, good food and great
service. The tamales were very tasty...as well as all the
other items. A definite must try...

This the best place in my opinion to get mexican food. My husband
& I love this place. The taco salad is great so if you order this
be very hungry or be ready to share. I like the flan, sopapillas.
The cheese crisp is huge. I usally get a combo which has a taco,
two chimi's, green chiles w/ cheese, mexican rice, & beans oh
I can't forget the tortilla. Their strawberry daquiri is good.I'm
sure the margarita's are good also.
