We went here one night and had a few drinks and appetizers. Service was very friendly and our waitress basically hung out with us when we were there. Very fun night out. Drinks were reasonably priced and the appetizers were tasty.

The food here great; especially that "Salad Room." Haven't seen a spread like this since Mother Tucker's on Lincoln Dr in Phoenix. Clearly, it's worth it's namesake. Great service at an inexpensive rate.

One of my favorite places in Arizona to have dinner. Food and service excellent, atmosphere fascinating. A walk through the downstairs hall is a trip back in time, with photographs from the early years lining the walls. Salad room is a lot of fun, just a great place to relax after a tough week!

What a relief to be able to escape the run of the mill chain restaurants! I didn't know about this place until my friend suggested it. If you leave this restaurant hungry then you must have a problem! The salad room was included with my meal and I enjoyed the ability to choose my items. The entree was really good and the atmosphere was relaxing. There was a wait when my family arrived, but that should tell you it is a worthy restaurant! Try it out you won't be disappointed.

The Landmark is as the name implies, it has been a local family favorite in Mesa for years. The Landmark offers elegant home cooked meals with an abundance of salad and side dishes. The famous salad room is loaded with those side dishes Midwesterners always enjoyed at their small towns fanciest restaurant.
The restaurant looks like an old Mormon Church, most likely because it was one of the original Mormon churches in Mesa. The interior is fitting for a former house of worship and carries that feeling over to your meal. The setting is old world charm and creates an environment that makes children sit a little straighter in their chairs.
You will not want to be in shorts and a golf shirt when you enter and are surrounded by those who believe this is a special place for dinner and deserves a dress shirt and jacket.
My choice: Anything that says home like chicken or roast beef and horseradish sauce. Multiple trips to the salad room for pickled herring and beets.

Excellent dining. The out and out BEST salad bar in the world. Great service. The atmosphere is a cut above your average family restaurant but it would be nice if they enforced some sort of dress code to keep out the slobs who know no better than to go to a nice restaurants in shorts and tank tops.

I love the Landmark. If feels like your eating at your Grandmas house. The food is always good and the salad room is GREAT.
You may have to wait to be seated but it's worth it.
The only drawback to the Landmark is that they only serve until 7:00pm.

I'm not so sure what the excitement for this place is. Yeah, there's a room full of salad items, but it's not a very big room and the quality isn't that great. Don't restaurants know you should WASH bagged salad before serving it? The dining rooms are nice, but this is a place to take Granny...definitely not a place for romance. My mother made the comment that it looked like "God's waiting room". Used to be a Mormon church if it tells you anything.

I LIVE IN COLUMBUS, IN. MY SON AND I WENT TO MESA IN 1994 AND AGAIN IN 1995. IN '94 WE WENT TO MESA TO TAKE-IN SOME CHICAGO CUBS SPRING TRAINING GAMES AMD THEN GO TO THE GRAND CANYON. WE STOPPED AT THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE VISITERS CENTER AND THEY RECOMMENDED THE LANDMARK RESTURANT. ON OUR RETURN FROM THE GRAND CANYON WE MADE A SPECIAL EFFORT TO RETURN TO THE LANDMARK BEFORE RETURNING TO COLUMBUS. THE FOLLOWING YEAR WE RETURNED TO MESA FOR SPRING TRAINING, BUT THE BASEBALL STRIKE CHANGED OUR PLANS. WE DECIDED TO GO TO THE CANYON, BUT FIRST WE HAD TO EAT AT THE LANDMARK RESTURANT BEFORE LEAVING. WE AT THE LANDMARK THREE DIFFERENT TIMES ON THIS TRIP. I HAVE RECOMMENDED THE LANDMARK RESTURANT TO MANY OF MY FRIENDS THAT WERE GOING TO THE MESA AREA. THE LANDMARK WAS A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE! A TOUCH OF HOME! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO THE WHOLE FAMILY!!!!
