Charging for the fires is a turnoff, but they are worth it...The
basic burgers are good, I personally recommend the big wave,
but some of the burgers are a little to fancy...i.e. the teriyaki
burger and the pineapple burgers stay away from those and your
set. Passion fruit ice tea is a definate plus.

I have to agree with the others, the practice of charging extra
for fries is pretty weak, especially with the prices here...and
I don't even LIKE fries, generally speaking! But the burgers
here are wonderful, at least in my experience....and I automatically
like a place that cooks theri burgers medium rare as a default!
And they have ALWAYS gotten my burger the way I wanted it....and
the teriyaki burger is great. Drinks are okay, service is average
or less, and the AC is always on way too cold, but not a bad place
for the occasional bite.

Bad food, bad service, bad pricing. This is a place for rich white
people who want try and relive their college days. All of the service
staff need a lesson in etiquette.

this is nothing more than a tourist clip joint! The service is
bad and so is the food, the popcorn at the movies next door is more
appetizing, say away from this one!

The burgers, which is their specialty, are LOUSY. I got an upset
stomach after eating the teriyucki burger. They charge extra
for fries.
The atmosphere is the reason to go here. Surfing on TV, beach music,
and wicker everywhere (even in the restrooms).
The service is friendly, and the waitresses are HOTTIES!

Not overly impressed by their burgers...they are fried, not
grilled, and have a habit of making the bun disintregate and the
whole burger falls apart...the fries and chips are great, althought
they charge extra for them...the atmosphere is great and laid-back
with great beach tunes playing.

The Islands is a place that I have taken out of town visitors on
several occasions. The burgers are terrific. The service is
always super friendly. Plus, it is right next to a movie theater
for a convienient night out.

Not bad for a burger joint, although they have the
"lame" practice of charging extra for fries/rings et. al
