Attitude was Aweful, The Food Was Fine, The Memories of the past was
nice. Then, there were flies hovering around our side of the restuarant,
when we complained to the manager he was RUDE! and said " Well I
can't do anythign about that!" Imagine the shock O_O ! It
was an aweful experience and the Manager was just needs a new job if he
can't get himself out there to cleana nd help the other workers
who were obviously busy! Will never set foot there again!

Nostalgia for the 1950s comes easily at all nine locations of
this Valley institution. Neon, chrome, shiny red vinyl booths
and framed mementoes of icons James Dean, Elvis Presley and the
like capture the ambiance of a bygone era in slick Valley fashion.
Jukeboxes at the counter and outdoor dining at funky, retro tables
are illuminated by red neon and a perky, diner-style wait staff.
The fare is a throwback to a more gravy-friendly time with a hot
meat loaf sandwich replete with creamy mashed potatoes and veggies,
spaghetti, club sandwiches and daily blue-plate and senior
specials. Serving three meals daily (all day long), house specialties
are pancakes and omelets, burgers and seasoned fries, hot dogs
and onion rings. Got a sweet tooth? Their malts and shakes are
famous and touted as "best in the West." This location
on N. 16th St. is open 24 hours

very good little restaraunt also very unique. Setup like a restarant
in the 50's they have wonderful home cooked food and my favorite
each table has its own little personal jutebox that you can sit
there and choose your tunes to hear right at your table it is awesome
give it s shot!

This is a great little place to take the kids or a date! The 1950's
atmosphere is fun and the food is good. They have good hamburgers
and sandwitches. Dont forget to try the shakes!

I love this restaraunt. First of all the 5 & Diner is set up
like things were years ago which I find to be a really neat, different
atmosphere. Each booth or table has it's own little juke
box on it to where you can sit right there and play your songs of
choice without having to leave the table and you can adjust it
to the volume you wish! On top of the great "oldies"
atmoshpere the good is very good as well! You get generous size
portions at a great price! It reminds me alot like "Home
Cooking". I would definitly give it a try if you have a chance!!

Good Food, but the (very small) restaurant was extremely heavy
with cigarette smoke, so much so that when our food came, I had
to exit. Too bad, since the decor and ambiance were rather nice.
Would not return though, not worth it...I'd rather breathe.

This place has it.Good food and fun.Great place to bring the family.WE
bring our Daughters all the time. The first time we paid for them
after that they have been free every time.If you haven' found
out by now. Those place mats that your kids have been coloring
on.Keep them when you are done.Bring them with you the next time
you come in and get their meal free. This only works when you get
one adult meal for every kids meal.1 adult 2 kids, 1 free kids
meal.2 adults 2 kids, 2 free kids meals.Bring the family and have
fun !!
