By far El Charro has the best Green Chili burro in the world! Fresh chip's and hot sauce with a ice cold Coors in the Florentino Room on a friday after work! Great service and I like the how after all of the years it is still the same as whem my parents first took me there for a family dinner's back in the 70's and now I take my kids there. A excellent place to eat and apart of Arizona History!

I love the food at El Charro. It one of only of few original Sonoran Mexican food places that has not been adulterated by Texmex, New Mexican or other nonarizona, unauthentic influences. The beans and tortillas are made fresh everyday! The hot sauce is not overwhelmed by cumin. And the taco meat is still made from linguas like they have been for fifty years. As one of the oldest Mexican food restaurants in AZ, it is about as authenic as you can get. If you want to taste real Arizona/Sonoran Mexican food go to El Charro.

This food is great!! Nice atmosphere and waitresses!! Try the burrito, cheese crisp, chips and hot sauce. Go into the bar have some bean dip. You will not get better -- ANYWHERE!!

This restaurant is neither good or bad. It is your typical mexican food restaurant in the US, you will not trully get "real" mexican food unless u go to the border or south of. But it is a very flavorful meal and rapid service, food in minutes.

Typical "Mexican" American fare (read: canned refried beans with gobs of greasy melted yellow cheese). Clue:Real Mexican food rarely,if ever uses yellow cheese. Go somewhere else.
