This place is fabulous for weekend breakfasts, although you
could expect a wait. The University Ave. location has a diner-type
bar you can sit at as well as an open, airy old-school dining area.
The Mission Blvd. location is a block from the beach and is more
like a living room than a restaurant, with board games and some
comfy booths. The latter location is more of a coffee at night
groove, the prior a breakfast/lunch place. Either has excellent
food! I have eaten at both locations quite a few times and consider
them to be under-rated in San Diego, especially for their delicious
menu. The hours at both locations have changed a lot, so I always
call first. Super friendly staff, too.
