Great Place. The Food is excellent. The Hush Puppy Apetizaer was good, the sauce it came with was excellent. For an entree I had a simple Red Beans and Rice with Sausage. It was very good. My date had a Shrimp Po'Boy, and she liked it. The food is not too spicy, but can be made so if you ask nice. The drinks were good and strong, too. A great place!

Had the shrimp etouffe and hush puppies, very very good. This place is a time warp into New Orleans. A must try for sure. Tons of food.

Let the good times roll at this bright and bouncy Cajun and Creole restaurant located within easy walking distance of the San Diego Convention Center. It is a little bit of New Orleans in the Southwest, serving up rich and spicy foods. It is probably not a great choice for dieters or those afraid of some heat on their plates. Taste the classic gumbo, munch on a muffuletta sandwich or soak yourself in the creamy mayonnaise-rich etouffes.

There is another joint here that`s just as good but you don`t have that place here. But the food here is excellent. Anyone who enjoys great cajun food will love this place. Bring your appetite because you are not going to leave hungry.

A bit of N'arlins in San Diego. I've taken Louisianians here and they consider it a part of New Orleans. It is own by folks back at New Orleans and they hold strick standards to assure genuine cajin and creole cuisine. They also have some Lousianan micro brew beers. It is righ on the edge of the gass lamp district, renouned for its clubs and night life. It is also one street over from a huge three level indoor oputdoor mall. great place to eat to start the evening after shopping. We did several times!

i am from louisiana, an i have to say that the food here is as close to home as i can get out here.a friend an me both had the red beans-n-rice for our main course, it was outstanding.for an appetizer we had the aligator, it as well was better than expected.but the part of the meal i enjoyed most was the coffee after dinner.comunity coffee, a coffee that is typically sold only in louisiana.it is definately something to look forward to after dinner.
