This place is located in a little strip mall off Moeser and San Pablo.
Though a Japanese restaurant, it is owned and run by Chinese. I used
to love eating here, but the restaurant was sold to the old owners of
Original Peking down the street a while back. So, I don't quite
enjoy the food as much as I used to. Anyways, people come here mostly
for the ramen lunch sets. There are just so many (dozens and dozens)
of combinations to choose from, and they do get quite creative. On the
non-ramen side of the menu, I have always liked the katsu chicken curry.
This place is not very big and usually quite busy with locals.

This little restaurant has been a long time favorite. I used to
live nearby and ate here more frequently. On a recent trip to the
Bay Area, I found it to still be a great place to eat. Good thing
they expanded as it used to be tiny. Love the combination plates
for variety. Great place to go on a foggy or rainy night for a hot
bowl of noodle soup. Charming, comfortable atmosphere and casual
service. Take friends or your family along.

GREAT FOOD! Truly an assortment of Japanese food to choose from,
including a variety of Donburi's (over rice), Sushi, Ramen (noodles),
and combinations. But I must warn you, this restaurant fills
very quickly, and you may find yourself arm in arm with other tables
due to lack of space (not recommended for claustrophobics).
As for the sushi, try the spider roll, a huge favorite for myself
and many other people I know. I also recommened the chicken curry
cutlet! mmm

This is one of my fave restaraunts!!! James, the owner, is the
nicest man, and the atomosphere is great. Be forewarned -- it
fills up quickly. You must be there for dinner when it opens at
5:00. Otherwise, you'll have a wait. But it's well worth it.
P.S. - They have an extensive menu. Be sure to try the Beef Rolls
dinner, it's excellent and unusual!

This is the busiest Japanese restaurant in El Cerrito.
They serve Sushi and Ramen (Japanese Noodle). They just expanded their
space double in last month. The owner, James is very nice person. All
their family work in the restaurant.
