The best Pizza in Central Contra Costa County! Pasta is very good! The Ceasar Salad is excellent(portion is enough for two people).Good selection of beer on tap. We have tried other Pizzerias in the area - none compare! So that gives you an Idea of theconsistent quality! Service is almost always excellent!

Best pizza in town - maybe in the Tri-Valley area! Ascona's is a bit pricey ($23 for a large plain pie), but it is excellent pizza, very savory, cheesey, with a garlicky-buttery crust. I am getting hungry just thinking about it. Great vibe to the joint, too. Casual, friendly, family-fun, sports, etc. <br> Beware of the crowds on weekends - we've had a couple of either burnt or undercooked pies on a Friday night when it's packed. But, 2 or 3 not-so-great pizzas in 5 years of regular attendence ain't so bad.

Service was excellent...food was even better. I ordered a small ham and pineapple, ate the entire thing and it was huge. Bartender (Jody) is hilarious. Great atmosphere, I'll be back.
