I live in Echo Park so this restaurant is only a hop skip and a jump from
home so I'm a frequent visitor however whenI lived in the valley
I used to drive there because I knew the food would be outstanding I really
believe it's the best Italian food outside Northern Italy and
I make this distinction because southern Italian cuisine is very heavy
on tomato sauce and until quite recently most Italian restaurants
in Los Angeles also slopped a heavy tomato sauce over everything and
it became virtually impossible to avoid thisFarfalla has a wide menu
and uses the best ingredients their salads with that delicious mouth
watering buffalo mozzerella are memorable and something to dream
about the restaurant is not large soit's bst to reserve a table
especially on week-ends as it gets very busy lunchtimes it's not
as busy and I've been lucky many times to just walk in and get a table
no fuss no problem. the Maitre "D" has been there forever

I live in the Los Feliz area and have been going to this restaurant
since I was a kid. It hasnt changed all that much, and the food has
always been top notch. I prefer it to any other Italian restaurant
in town. It boasts some of the best pasta you'll ever have
(the ravioli in sage sauce is my favorite). The place is cozy,
great atmosphere, and despite being so small it always has good
business but not a lot of noise. Perfect for a date and even take
out.

Menu selections are simply splendid. From the wide variety of
pizzas to the home made dishes you can't beat it! Their white
pizzas are really great too! Nice change from the traditional
run of the mill pizza. I would highly recommend this resturant
if you are in the mood for italian food!

This is by far and away the best Italian restaurant in LA.
I recently went there and had seared pork dish with a parsely demi
sauce that was excellent. the atmosphere is quaint it is small
and seems to be a ma and pa operation which adds to the charm. The
had great service and excellent wine, don't miss this place.

Gnocchi and pesto pizza are out of this world. The chef knows just
how long to cook fish and steak, never dry or undersone. I would
kill for their fish supplier...always fresh. never fishy. Pastas
are outstanding, especially the pink sauces. Only drawback
is the dessert...probably supplied frozen and mass-produced.
Weekends can be very busy. Crowded, small tables, but in a bustling,
fun kind of way.

It is the best restaurant if you like italian food. You should
go and try it out once. The service is great and the food is great!
I have been going there all my life. So go and enjoy the great food

Farfalla Trattoria on Hillhurst in Los Feliz is one of the best
Italian restaurants in Los Angeles. They have wonderful ambience,
great service and superb food. All my friends from New York love
it too. They never miss an opportunity to go there when they are
in town.
