Probably not the best French restaurant in town, but it's
homey and comforting--with prices to match. The traditional
Taix dinners include soup, salad and dessert and hover around
$15 per person. Has an extensive wine list is known for its cut-rate
prices, so many people suffer the average food for a superior,
low-priced bottle.

Taix is one of the oldest restaurants in LA, yet remains largely
unknown. Its location is far from hip, but is worth the visit.
yes, it has one of the longest and least expensive wine lists in
LA. But its claim to fame is the bottomless soup bowl. Also, I love
talking to the waiters. These are NOT wannabe actors, the usual
LA service type.

Taix is one of the best Restaurants in LA the real deal authentic,
French home cooking.
Not that whimpy parisian nouvell cuisine that os many amatures
think is French food. this is what you get out of some french grandmas
kitchen.
They also have one of the best wine lists in the so. cal area. if
you want Champagne. well thats the only short coming on there
wine list.
This is the ultimate date night, or sports bar in the front big
screen tv close to dodger stadium. Bernard has one the lo0s angeles
restaurant owners association Server of the year for the last
three years.
they also have live music in the Bar at night. WOW!!

good food, but not authentic french food. It's almost like saying
Taco Bell is authentic Mexican food. yeah right

taix- is a very interesting restuarant and well worth a
visit to see if you would like it. the wine list is one of
the better and least expensive in los angeles with hundreds
of choices.. the restuarant is very close to dodger
stadium. the food menu is varied but mostly french. please
dont let the french identifcation discourage you from
going. I really believe that if you live close enough to go
you will thanks me. I had the delicious roasted crispy duck
(la orange) with a tasty orange sauce. duck is usually
greasey but this was not, just mention that request to the
waiter if you want to. my wifee michele had a delicious
veal dish with fresh cooked vegatables. we ordered a
delicious california merlot wine and shared a dessert of
chocolate crepes . dinner was under 65 $$ and you can
certainly get away for less with no problem. there is
valet parking and reservations should always be made and
canxelled if you cant make it. enjoy yourself and please
browse over the great wine list ...
