Amazing Chinese food. This has to be one of my all time favorites.

Nice atmosphere, kinda fancy, but without the pretensiousness.

Excellent service, food comes out quick.

Highly recommended.

The food and ambience at this restaurant are good. However, the
waiters are a bit snobbish and appear to be doing you a favor. I
musch prefer Loon Wah.

I had lunch at the Mandarin Gourmet today. Service was prompt
and courteous and the food arrived promptly. I had Chenghu Chicken
which was reasonably good. I am not familiar with the region,
the spelling of its name or the dish, so I was just trying something
new. My companion's Mu Shu Pork looked better than my dish, so
I was a bit envious. On the whole, this was a reasonably prices,
pleasant dining experience that I would recommend.

This is my favorite place to go in Cupertino for dim sum. They have
a good variety and it's a very pleasant place to dine at.

The first unusual characteristic of this place is its nice
atmosphere. It has low light, cloth tablecloths, nice
silverware, superior artwork on the walls, and an open feeling.
The second unusual characteristic is the high quality of the
food. Unlike most Chinese restaurants, they seem to be aware
of the concept of trimming meat before cooking it. The sauces
are always very good.
The third unusual characteristic is the wide selection of dishes.
I'm partial to chicken myself, so I've had a lot of different
chicken dishes, but this place has some that I've never seen
anywhwere else. I recommend the salt and pepper chicken.
The service here is also first rate.
It can get crowded, so call for reservations. Also, they're
closed on Sundays.

Very good quality Chinese at pretty standard prices for the area.
Tangerine beef and chicken are two favorites. Recommended

Everything I have tried here is wonderful. I like to order the
house special chow mein, which is very good. Other good dishes
are the Szechuan scallops and lamb with green onions. The decoration
with the Tang dynasty horses is very sophisticated.

one of the best chinese restautrants in the area. Really good
seafood. The only drawback is the price. But, you can also go for
the dim sum that is very good too. AT least try this place out once.

The best Chinese in Cupertino, and that's saying something.
They use better quality meat than most of the other places, and
the food has a certain homecooked quality. It feels like if I had
a chinese grandmother, this is what her food would be like.

Pleasant dining in pleasant surroundings. I'd certainly agree
that Mandarin Gourmet doesn't really push the envelope with its
dishes, but they are consistently top quality. I can only speak
about the vegetarian dishes, but I always enjoy what they have
there.
I'd also agree that the service is sometimes less than adequate,
but the setting and food make up for that in my book.
