I had dinner here with on a Friday evening. The place was quite busy and
service was a little slow. Atmosphere was casual abut upscale because
of the white table cloth and nice table setting. Food was above average,
but nothing extraordinary. They do server dishes here you would find
hard to find elsewhere.

We had a variety of dishes for lunch which we shared. The prawns
with walnuts were quite tasty. All of the food was good. The waiter
bordered on surly. Saved us some money on the tip. Recommend as
a lunch venue. They have plenty of capacity and provide quick
service.

This is a nice Chinese Restaurant. The food is probably
slightly better than Mandarin Gourmet, but the atmosphere is
a little worse. This place is more brightly lit and doesn't
have that "fancy restaurant" look to it. It's nice enough, it
just isn't showy.
The service was reasonably prompt and friendly. On the Chinese
restaurant scale, I would say that the service is exceptional.
For you unashamed fork users out there, you have to ask for a
fork at this place.

In Hong Kong the food was good, but too far. At Hong Fu Gourmet Restaurant not
only the food is exquisite but the place is warm and friendly and the service
is First Class! The owner are always in sight and make sure that food, service
and clients are in unison (Just like a song!)
This is a place were family and/or friends will enjoy a truly marvelous experiernce
in delightful and tasty food!Highly recomended by all my friend who had the
PLEASURE of eating there!

Hong Fu Gourmet Restaurant is by far the best Chinese restaurant my
wife and I have ever experienced. What makes Hong Fu so great is not
only the well prepared dishes, but thea atmosphere of the restaurant
and the proprietors truly make you feel welcome.

We went for a very large meal here. The special fish was fresh
and very well prepared, as were other high-$$ entrees. More
modest dishes were more average, but definitely adequate. Service
was OK, but not great. The children did not feel as comfortable
as at some places.

i love this place!
the food is wonderful, especially sweet and sour chicken.
i usually order from the american menu, but if you see something
you like on another table, they will explain what it is, etc.
they also have very good chinese chicken salad, my favorite and
i agree, the shrimps with candied walnuts are soooo good!

In general, all Chinese restaurants have dishes that
they do especially well. Well, Hong Fu does more well
than most. It's my wife's favorite Chinese restaurant.
Taste enters into it, but the chow mein is very good here.
I've only ordered off of the "American" menu, but every
thing has been well above average. The decor is also very
clean and tidy, as well as bright. Service is good and
the prices are relatively reasonable. This place is a good
value, and experience. We eat here often and will continue
to do so.
