An Indianapolis institution. This is the Broad Ripple location located right on the Central Canal. Unusual pizzas.

Wonderful pizza with great sauces. They pile on the toppings so that you are plenty full when you finish. You will love the food here if you are a pizza fan.

In 1986, Jeff and Deb Berman opened a restaurant in Broad Ripple, hoping to introduce Indianapolis pizza-lovers to a new and original culinary style. Thanks to their pizza's ever-growing popularity, the Bermans were able to open a second location downtown in 1989. Combining eclectic flavors and ingredients from around the world, Bazbeaux's Pizza became the first in the state to offer a whole wheat crust, exotic toppings and freshly prepared sausage. Housed in a 150-year-old historic building, the downtown Bazbeaux is a bit upscale though it maintains a casual vibe. Medieval Italian murals line the walls, while local photographs decorate the wine cellar. Consistently voted the best pizza in Indianapolis, Bazbeaux's highlights include the Garden Pizza (a vegetarian's dream with artichoke hearts, avocado, spinach, green pepper, black olives and ricotta), the Pizza Alla Quattro Formaggio (delighting cheese aficionados with cheddar, ricotta, mozzarella, provolone, bacon and mushrooms) and the American-style BBQ Pizza (featuring Deb Berman's homemade BBQ sauce, barbequed chicken or shrimp, green peppers, onions and cheddar). Bazbeaux's also offers a hefty selection of antipastos, salads and baguette sandwiches.

This is the best pizza in town. If you've never been go there.

They will keep you coming back. Try anything and be amazed.

Best Pizza in town. They recently moved their Broad Ripple location to the South side fo Westfield just a little West of their previous location. The new place looks awesome, but the prices went up a little to cover the cost.

THis is a great place in Broad Ripple near the canal. It was made out of a garage! The pizza and service are excellent. You can get anything imaginable on your pizza here. The crust is nice and crunchy too.

Quaint little place with good pizza! They have the choice when it comes to toppings / style. More on the gormet side. I tried a large spinich, mushrooms and sun died tomatoes that was great! The salads come with mozzelli cheese in them and are a good start to dinner. Try the back room for additional seating looks like a garage...? Enjoy good pizza and fun at this Broad ripple eatery.

Pizzas are too small for the outlandish price they serve. The dining room looks like a garage. I recommend a tombstone and eat out in your own garage. You will save alot of money and won't be hungry when finished. There are far better pizza joints in town and you wont have to look at broadripple yuppies when dining.

After 8 years of eating pizza in Indy I can say that the Broad Ripple Bazbeaux experience is one that everyone should have. The already creative pizza selections can be modified to your hearts content or you can create your own custom gourmet pizza. Combine their award winning pizza with fresh salads, sandwiches, and a bucket of chilly beers or a glass of wine all enjoyed outside on the front or back porch in the historic Broad Ripple Village...What more can I say than, "pizza perfection!"

These cats know how to throw a pie together - downtown or up north in Broadripple. Get that one that no one can pronounce (Starts with a "T" - Toupolusaafldie, or something - has a keen sausage in it). The atmosphere is ok - nothing to write home about - but they have a nice deck for the summer months.

Everyone in the area recommends Bazbeaux's. The pizza is good. There are tons of choices. The atmosphere is fun. If you go on a weekend night or another busy time be prepared for a very long wait. Take the time to enjoy the surrounding area of Broad Ripple.

Everyone in Broad Ripple raves about this pizza place. Tons of toppings are available, but Bazbeaux's specializes in New York style flat pizzas to the exclusion of deep dish, or Chicago style pizzas. My favorite topping combo is the Greek one, with feta, olives and so on. The restaurant is sort of eclectic, with the majority of the seating area located in what once was, evidently, a garage. Bazbeaux's is a fun place to go.
