Really authentic food north of the border! All of the staff are
gracious and friendly. The food is nicely priced and well worth

Nice atmosphere. Be careful
and do not fill up on the fresh baked bread and miniture meatballs
you get as an appetizer. Parking is terrible only a few select
valet slots -- We parked our car at the convenience store/strip
mall that is facing Memorial just behind Carmelo's. Spinach
Cantaloni was wonderful

In Short
In its strip center location just off the Southwest Freeway,
Lopez's moderate prices, casual atmosphere and attentive
waitstaff make it a neighborhood favorite. Expect a lineup of
the traditional Tex-Mex favorites--fajitas, combination
plates and taco salads. House specialties include a jazzed-up
beef tostada, creamy guacamole and cheese enchiladas. Margaritas
get high marks with the regulars.

I love this place except for one thing... I love my salsa thick
and zesty. This salsa is more like liquid acid. Not enought chips.

30 years of eating Tex-Mex all over Texas and no one compares to
Lopez! Quite simply, the best. Having to wait is not a big deal
afterall, isn't that a good sign? Food is tasty and fast and the
cozy, neighborhood feel is tough to beat.
