I have been enjoying business and personal dinners at Bonnie's for years. However, last night, I took four business associates there for dinner; one person order prime rib, one ordered fish and the rest of us all ordered "medium rare" steaks. While the rest of the meal and drinks were good, the steaks looked like burn hockey pucks. Since my major concern at critical times like this is keep the business conversation going, my ability to express my disappointment in the food is diminished. I did call the waiter(s) aside and they reacted to my complaint like a "chicken watching a card trick". One of us was brave enough snap his steak in pieces and actually eat it, while the other two steaks were left in tack and hopefully a decent burial at sea. My offices and facilities are located in the Kemah area which offers an abundance of interesting restaurants, but I made the 25 minute drive to Bonnie’s at my suggestion.
