Battling it out for the best fast casual Mexican food are Chipotle and Qdoba. Chipotle is a little worse in their ingredients. Their meats are sometime more fatty and the sauces not quite as good as Qdoba.

favorite restaurant (obviously) amazing food and good atmosphere, always fills you up and worth every penny spent. they say to carefully choose what you get the first time because everything is so amazing you won't want to switch. service isn't great at any fast food place, their main concern is to get you through the line quickly

For those not used to this type of restaurant the counter can be

a confusing place. The first time I went in I didn't know how

the whole thing worked and the employees were anything but helpful.

The end result was a great burrito, so I continue to stop back by

every once in a while on the merit of the food alone: definitely

NOT the service.

A nice variation of Mexican completely different from Taco Bell or sit down Tex Mex. Well seasoned with good quality ingredients like actual chicken breast you can see cooked on a grill (I even saw temp checking of pieces of meat). burritos are huge and you need a knife and fork to eat them.

Yes, the burritos are huge. Yes, they taste great. Yes, there are other good items on the menu. And yes, these restaurants are popping up everywhere, for good reason.

I thought the burritos were great, pretty good size so that makes up for the decent cost.

This is a great place to take the family or if you are looking for fast, decent food. However this is not traditional Mexican food. The burritos are huge and the Barbacoa is the best that I have had in a while. The atmosphere in thie restaurant is very interesting and worthy of a look too.

The Steak Burrito and the Barbacoa are my favorites at this place. One of my two favorite Mexican places in Denver; this is a restaurant for people who do not care about the atmosphere but are concerned only about the quality of the food and this place has great quality food. good job!
PS - Be careful of the hot sauce, it is a scorcher!!!

I think this restaurant has gained popularity because of the interior decoration, more so than the food. This is a chain and I have been to a couple locations, all of which have the stainless steel on wood trendy open kitchen look of the new millenium. When you eat there it looks like a set off the Food network. I think the food is not Mexican, but rather Californian. It's not authentic Mexican anyways...however the restaurants I visited appear clean, and definitely attract a young, hip crowd. I think this restaurant is more of a social statement than a great place to eat, and I prefer the tacos to the burritos, which are mainly rice. The service is more austere than friendly...in my experience, but maybe that is because it's so crowded all the time, the employees are just tired? Especially at lunch hour. I would say that bringing Chipotle back to the office makes more of a statement than McDonald's and that is why most people eat there. Your basic choice there is taco or burrito...and you select the ingredients from an open bar and they build it for you...like Subway...only with tortillas.

The burritos are big as advertised, but that is because the are mainly filled with rice. The food is better than alot of chain type mexican food restaraunts. for a fast burrito it's probably where I would go.

I`m not really into what they consider "Gourmet" burritos and tacos. I prefer the more authentic burrito. It definetly takes 2 hands to handle it, but that`s manily because they are filled with RICE, and not very much meat. I guess that what the "Gourmet" means, not much meat, but alot of rice!

I've visted four of the Chipotles in Denver and they are consistently good. However, I don't feel they should top the list of Mexican food joints. It's a nouveau chain with better than average food. They get your order quick and it's good. Especially the guac.. To use the word authentic, however, would be a stretch.

Great place for big eaters!!! You're in and out in a flash-- or you can enjoy their nice dining rooms, or, at some locations, the patio. The hot salsa IS HOT, so if you're not into breathing fire, try mixing two of the salsas--it's great!!

This place is a great place to get fairly cheap good mexican food. The Burritos are wonderful and the corn salsa is great.Unlike previous reviews, I found that the service was fairly good. Of course we went on a Saturday afternoon, when the crowd was pretty small. This place is on our repeat trip list.
