The best seafood restaurant in the city. Small, crowded, loud, good
service, boisterous. It was cheaper before it got all out famous;

Gaido's is truly a tradion in Galveston. We go every year on our
annual trek to the coast. The fresh fish, great service, and huge portions
can't be beat. Be prepared to wait during peak times and split an
entree - they are HUGE!

Truly a very good seafood restaurant in Galveston. Went there with
a large crowd (12 of us) and the service was excellent. One of our group
was celebrating a birthday and they gave us a tray of all the desserts
at no charge--how's that for hospitality. All the seafood dishes
were great and everyone enjoyed their meal.

This is a great seafood restaurant with a great view of the Gulf.
I've been there many times over the course of 14 years and
the food was consistently outstanding. Of course, the average
entree price can be much higher than $15 if you'd like, but
it's also possible to go there for just salad and the wonderful
fresh-baked bread loaves they serve at the table.

This is the place to go for seafood in Galveston..heck I'll
drive any distance for Gaidos! I've been going there most
of my nearly 30 years for special occassions (It is my birthday
place of choice for at least the past 10 years) The SHRIMP BISQUE
is heaven in a bowl! I highly recommend going with the Captains
choice...which means you pick your favorite entre, add 6 bucks
and get: salad, choice of appetizer (SHRIMP BISQUE HERE), bread,
plus your delicious entre (EVERYTHING IS SUPERB) and a small
portion of one of their decadent desserts! THis is and always
will be my very favorite restaurant! LOVE IT! worth every penny
too! the food is not the only great thing they have going... always
very pleasant staff and excellent atmosphere!
