The Fort is one of the restaurants I think about when someone asks me
for a uniquely Colorado restaurant. The restaurant outside is a reproduction
of Bents Fort and coming into the courtyard you can almost feel you are
leaving the present behind and stepping back into the old west. Once
you come inside, that illusion fades away as the smells from kitchen
hit your nose and your mouth starts craving to taste what is coming out
of there. The menu itself is very game heavy with buffalo, quail and
many other items to tempt you. The fort is a great place to take friends from out of town to show them
a piece of the old west or just to go and enjoy for yourself. If you would
like to see some pictures of the fort and the food they serve along with
a full review of the meal we had feel free to visit our blog at www.milehigheater.blogspot.com

guess the food quality was poor because it was near closing when
my husband and I went last night, the chicken and Broc pasta was
cold, and the brownie was mush-ugh! We were not satisfied at all!

By Far the best restaraunt in Colorado. A true rustic fee, and
exteremely friendly staff. They offer such food as Elk, Buffalo,
Quail, rattle Snake and other wild meats. If your more the Beef
or fish lover, They will definatly take care of you. Great place
to take that special someone...I especially recommend taking
them for a Birthday cheer they will not soon forget.

Dining in Denver rarely gets any better than The Fort. Out of towners
will either love you forever, or curse your name for making them
try the rattlesnake...;)We make it a yearly treat to go for dads
birthday, hope he stays with us for many years to come. ;)

I attended the Fort over my winter vacation from college and the
food and service were both amazing. The atmosphere of Morrison,
CO and the Red Rocks amplitheatre are beautiful and warming to
the soul. I was there for a family dinner and everyones food was
exceptionally well prepared and the service was top notch. Anyone
looking for a romantic place for dinner or even a casual evening
should try the Fort

If you have international guests, you must take them to The Fort.
(When the Group of 7, or was it 8, came to Denver, they chose to dine
at The Fort.)

If you have out-of-state guests, you must take them to The Fort.

If you want excellently prepared exotic dishes, served by an
exceptional wait staff, you should go The Fort.

If you want to dine at a TRUE world-class restaurant, you should
go The Fort.

The Fort greets you with it's warm adobe walls and draws you into it's one of
a kind atmosphere of fine dining blended with authentic old west decor. You
will find that same blend in it's delicious signature entrees.
I highly recommend The Fort. Great food, great atmosphere, great location,
great view, and great service. The bufallo filet is not to be missed. There
is one vegeterian item on the menu that looks tasty, but I haven't worked my
way to that one yet .

The Fort draws you inside it's warm adobe walls, and embraces you in an atmosphere
of fine dining blended with authentic old-west decore. The delicious signature
entrees share that same blend.
A typical diner comprises of salad, home made muffins, rolls, and flat breads,
followed by the entree. A tasty appetizer may be added for those with large
appetites.
The entrees themselves are delicious. The buffalo filet is not to be missed.
Also available is elk, ostrich, and beef. And those who have developed the
taste for it can order Rocky Mountain Oysters. There is one vegetarian entree
on the menu that looks pretty good, by I haven't managed to work my way around
to it yet.
Great food, great atmosphere, great location, great view, great service.
I highly recommend The Fort.
